Objectives
The Forum is organised by the ProTem group responsible for the setting up of a European Alliance in Medical and Biological Engineering and Science, EAMBES (www.eambes.org). The objective of the forum is to present and discuss the current European wide initiatives, namely the creation of the European Research Area, the 6th Framework Program and its new instruments, especially Networks of Excellence, and the creation of the European Higher Education Area in relation to the field represented by EAMBES. The final session of the Forum discusses the current status of the creation of EAMBES.
