Germany is the world’s second biggest manufacturer of medical equipment and thereby represents the engine of growth for Europe. Particularly Southern Germany offers an impressive state of the art environment for research, development and industry, while delivering more than half of the total German production of medico equipment.
In co-operation with GTS, Medico Innovation, DTU, IDA and Copenhagen Capacity, the Innovation Center is arranging a delegation to travel to Munich. The delegation will be attended by the Danish MedTech industry, scientists from the Danish leading universities, as well as representatives of the hospital sector. Based on our cooperation with powerful south German players and acknowledged industry clusters we have set up an exciting programme.
The delegation is being invited to:
- A dialogue with high-level decisionmakers among the world’s leading companies, elite universities and hospitals.
- Participation in international 1-on-1 partnering event.
- Introduction to the leading Medtech industry clusters in Germany.
- Plenty of opportunity for networking with other Danish players from research, the business world, the Danish regions and municipalities.
- Round table discussion on “Innovation and MedTech in the EU research policy/FP8”. The round table is organized in co-operation with EAMBES, EUCOMED, Helmholzt Association, and the European Commission to discuss the priorities in the forthcoming Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, FP8.
The participation price for companies is DKK 17.000.
The participation price for researchers is DKK 4.000.
